Floyd Mayweather knows a thing or two about being a famous fighter, and he had some words of advice for Conor McGregor.
At a Showtime Championship Boxing event in Las Vegas on Saturday, the retired pugilist gave an interview to reporter Jim Gray and he was inevitably asked for his thoughts on McGregor’s recent romp at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. “The Notorious” made a surprise appearance backstage after a media event to promote UFC 223 and proceeded to assault a bus carrying his nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Accompanied by a gang of associates, McGregor caused a major scene, with his most egregious offense occurring when he shattered a bus window with a dolly.
