As more weeks pass, more details about Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s MMA move continue to sprout out. After Tyron Woodley’s claim that he would be training the retired undefeated boxer, Mayweather himself gave an update to TMZ Sports on Monday.
According to Floyd Jr., he has already begun applying for an MMA license, which he is hopeful that he would be granted.
“Everything takes time, and eventually, we’re gonna apply for the license and hopefully we can fight,” Mayweather said with a straight face.
According to Woodley, he would be able to get the 41-year-old Mayweather primed for his MMA debut in just two and a half months.
