Florida could be a potential landing spot for the Ultimate Fighting Championship during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to a order from the office of Governor Ron DeSantis, the list of essential services in the state has been updated to include “employees at a professional sports and media production with a national audience — including any athletes, entertainers, production team, executive team, media team and any others necessary to facilitate including services supporting such production — only if the location is closed to the general public.”
The news was initially reported by ESPN in regards to World Wrestling Entertainment, which resumed live shows behind closed doors at its Performance Center in Orlando on Monday.
