It seems the only people not especially excited about the UFC's new drug testing policies are the media. Fans response has been largely positive and, if the few fighters on Twitter during the UFC's press conference are anything to judge by, UFC fighters like it too. The UFC announced their new plans today for a year round, United States Anti Doping Agency (USADA) run drug testing program today, that promises to deliver at least 2,750 tests annually to the UFC's 535-ish fighter roster. That's about 5 tests per fighter per year.
Fighters will be required to be available to check in and give their location to the USADA at all times, with three missed check-ins counting the same as a missed test.
