In his first action since June of 2012, former Pride Fighting Championships heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko will headline upstart Japanese promotion Rizin Fighting Federation’s New Year’s event.
Emelianenko took to the scale Wednesday near Tokyo and registered a tally of (236). His opponent, unknown Indian kickboxer Jaideep Singh, hit 233.
