At 42 years of age, Fedor Emelianenko continues to compete at the highest level. But as he moves forward in his career, “The Last Emperor” also admits that definite retirement may happen sooner than later.
“To tell the truth, at the age I’m at right now, more and more I am thinking about retiring,” Emelianenko said Wednesday through an interpreter at the Bellator 214 open workouts at Viacom headquarters in Hollywood (via MMA Fighting).
“I cannot answer this question at this moment,” he said when asked about his retirement date. “But I am willing to take some rest and then decide.
