An intriguing featherweight bout between Mirsad Bektic and Josh Emmett has been confirmed for UFC Sacramento, according to MMAjunkie.com and Farah Hannoun.
Bektic last fought at UFC 225, where he beat Ricardo Lamas by decision. He was then expected to take on Renato Carneiro at UFC 231 but had to withdraw due to an undisclosed injury. The Bosnian fighter is currently on the bubble in Sherdog’s official mixed martial arts rankings.
Emmett, meanwhile, returned the Octagon at UFC Philadelphia and knocked out Michael Johnson to get back into the win column.
