Featherweight Prospect A.J. McKee Signs Multi-Year Extension with Bellator MMA

A.J. McKee’s impressive 2015 campaign has earned him a measure of security in Bellator.

The California-based promotion announced on Thursday that it has signed McKee to a multi-fight, multi-year contract extension. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. McKee made his professional debut in 2015 and went 3-0 under the Bellator banner, finishing all three of his foes inside of a round. He last competed at Bellator 147, where he knocked out J.T. Donaldson with a knee 3:19 into the opening frame.

“In his first three fights, he’s proved he can finish an opponent in various ways, and he’s got the style and charisma to match his fighting skills,” Bellator President Scott Coker said in a release.
