A clash of heavyweight newcomers has been announced for the UFC 240 card in Edmonton, as Tanner Boser squares off with Giacomo Lemos at Rogers Place on July 27.
UFC 240, which is headlined by the five-round featherweight title bout between champion Max Holloway and challenger Frankie Edgar, airs live on pay-per-view. Tickets are on sale now.
Making his Octagon debut at home in Alberta, Boser earned his nickname "The Bulldozer" over the course of 22 pro MMA fights that have seen him defeat UFC veterans Victor Valimaki and Chase Gormley. Now he will take on unbeaten Brazilian Lemos, who has finished all of his pro wins before the final horn sounded.
