Fabricio Werdum Upsets Cain Velasquez At UFC 188 (Video Highlights)

Raise your hand if you thought interim heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum (pictured) was going to beat reigning heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez Saturday at UFC 188. Put your hands down, liars!

Velasquez ended his 20-month injury riddled hiatus as a 5-1 odds-on favorite to unify the heavyweight title. Werdum clocked in as a 4-1 underdog.

Boy, were the Gambling Gods wrong on this occasion. Similarly to five years ago when they inaccurately pegged Werdum as a 4-1 longshot when he submitted Fedor Emelianenko.

Speaking of tap outs… Prior to slapping on the fight-clinching guillotine choke in the third round to seal the deal, Werdum was battering Velasquez in the stand up game.
