Fabricio Werdum says he's been removed from UFC Network broadcast duties following Reebok comments

Earlier this week, former Ultimate Fighting Championhip (UFC) heavyweight king Fabricio Werdum made waves when he bashed Reebok sponsorship and insisted he's working on a side deal with Nike. Werdum stated that the $5,000 per fight sponsorship bonus he receives under UFC's deal with Reebok absolutely "sucks."

Now, after the dust has settled and Werdum's controversial comments have made their way around the mixed martial arts (MMA) community, the 39-year-old Brazilian has been removed from his broadcast duties on UFC Network as means of punishment, per a report by MMA Fighting. Werdum detailed his removal from UFC Network in the following Instagram post:

Werdum, who has worked as an on-air television personality for prominent UFC shows in the Latin America market, insists that he was let go of his broadcast duties since UFC and Reebok had no way of penalizing him financially.
