Fedor Emelianenko needs an opponent for his homecoming fight in Russia on Oct. 23 and an old foe has volunteered to accept the challenge.
After pulling off one of the biggest upsets in MMA history against Emelianenko in their first meeting in June 2010, former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum is looking to do it all over again in a rematch.
Werdum, who most recently competed in the PFL, has called for the fight against Emelianenko as Bellator MMA searches for an opponent to face “The Last Emperor” at the upcoming card scheduled to take place Moscow.
