Konstantin Erokhin's brief UFC career ended with a dismal loss to Gabriel Gonzaga on the TUF 22 Finale prelims back in December. The Russian heavyweight (9-3) was cut after going 0-2 in the promotion, failing to perform as well as he did in Russia, and now he faces a lengthy suspension after the Nevada Athletic Commission confirmed that he failed his pre-fight drug test for drostanolone. MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi reported the news on Wednesday.
It's worth noting that under the recent changes to the NAC's punishment guidelines, Erokhin stands to be suspended for 3 years as a first-time offender for using anabolic steroids.
