Former UFC fighter Abel Trujillo was sentenced on Monday to two years of probation in connection with a child sexual exploitation case where he admitting to sending an underage girl inappropriate text messages through social media.
9News in Colorado first reported the sentence, which comes six months after Trujillo, 36, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of promoting obscenity. Prosecutors dropped three other felony charges against the veteran lightweight fighter.
Trujillo was arrested this past July after police executed a search warrant for his phone and “dozens of photos of nude young women were located.
