Jon Jones’ date in court for three traffic violations was pushed back from Wednesday to next month, according to online court records.
The former light heavyweight champion will now appear in Albuquerque Metropolitan Court on March 23. Jones was pulled over on Jan. 31 in Albuquerque, N.M., and charged with driving without a license, proof of registration or insurance.
Traffic violations of this nature are not normally a major issue, but Jones’ transgression drew more attention because the fighter was on supervised probation for fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run accident that left a pregnant woman injured in 2015.
