Ex-Bellator fighter Sergio da Silva found guilty of robbing New York bank

Last week, according to the New York Daily News, former Bellator MMA fighter Sergio da Silva, 32, was convicted of robbing a bank in Queens, NY. That crime occurred on August 24th, 2017.

The robbery took place at a Citibank branch in Queens’ Astoria neighbourhood, steps away from da Silva’s residence. During the robbery da Silva, who was masked and wearing a hoodie, hopped the bank counter while claiming to be armed with a gun.
