On Saturday ,police in Jupiter, FL arrested Danny Lynn Tims III, 29, and charged him with attempted homicide, robbery, aggravated battery, and vehicle theft. Tims, who is originally from Missouri, is a professional MMA fighter who last fought in 2015. He appeared three times for Bellator in 2010.
According to CBS 4 in Miami, Tims was arrested in connection with a stabbing incident at the Jupiter Cove apartment complex that left an unnamed 37-year-old man in critical condition.
The Palm Beach Post reports that police believe Tims stabbed the 37-year-old in the heart with a knife and stabbed that victim’s girlfriend in the thigh.
