Longtime UFC veteran Erick Silva has signed an exclusive, multi-fight deal with Bellator, his manager Rafael Cavalcante revealed on social media Thursday. Bellator officials confirmed the news to MMA Fighting.
The 34-year-old fighter has no date and opponent set yet, but is expected to make his promotional debut later this year.
Silva (20-9, 1 no-contest) won seven of 15 fights inside the Octagon between 2011 and 2017, most notably finishing Josh Koscheck, Jason High and Charlie Brenneman.
Silva recently joined Team Nogueira in Rio de Janeiro and scored a first-round win in his first post-UFC appearance in June, submitting Nick Barnes in the main event of LFA 45.
