Did you notice a change in Erick Silva?
The Brazilian welterweight lost a split decision to Neil Magny at the UFC Fight Night 74 mixed martial arts (MMA) event last Sunday night (Aug. 23, 2015) in Saskatoon (video), after turning in a performance that was far below what "Tiger" fans are used to seeing.
Silva explains what went wrong -- as well as why he looked so deflated -- by way of his Instagram account.
"Honestly, I did not like my performance, and was overcome, I was embarrassed by my performance, my body, I know that I am much more than that Erick who presented yesterday, my main mistake was insisting on fighting, and put not only my 'head' in play as my coaches and my doctors did their best as far as possible so that I at least was the fight.
