Bellator 166 has a new co-feature, courtesy of an injury to Emmanuel Sanchez.
Bellator MMA officials announced Monday that the 26-year-old Sanchez, a Roufusport product, had suffered an undisclosed injury and pulled out of his Dec. 2 bout with unbeaten featherweight prospect A.J. McKee at Bellator 166. In Sanchez's place, McKee will now face Ray Wood, who was originally penciled in to face Treston Thomison on the undercard. Thomison now awaits a new opponent.
Wood, 27, is a Maine native now training out of Revolution MMA in Amarillo, Texas.
