Leon Edwards appears to have taken Michael Bisping’s advice as the No. 3-ranked welterweight is now open to the idea of fighting Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal in November/December.
Edwards previously snubbed Masvidal on social media but ‘Rocky’ is no longer content to sit on the sidelines and wait for a title shot against the winner of Usman vs. Covington 2.
Edwards was punched by Masvidal after the two got into a backstage altercation at London’s O2 Arena in 2019 and admits that he was frustrated that the fight wasn’t originally booked back then.
