Eduard Folayang will get to make the first defense of his One Championship title in front of his Filipino faithful.
Monday, One Championship announced that its April 21 “Kings of Destiny” bill would be headlined by Folayang defending his newly-earned One lightweight title -- contested at 170 pounds under One's weight class structure -- against Ev Ting. “Kings of Destiny” takes place at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila and airs in North America via online pay-per-view.
Folayang, 33, earned the One title in Kallang, Singapore last November, knocking out Japanese MMA legend Shinya Aoki in the third round.
