Perhaps one of the most overlooked fights in the lead up to UFC on FOX 16 in Chicago, Ill., last night (Sat., July 25, 2015) was the 155-pound match up between two fearsome strikers in Edson Barboza and Paul Felder.
As expected by experts, however, the fight was explosive and exciting from start to finish.
A feared Muay Thai striker, Barboza (16-3) owns highlight reel finishes over fighters like Evan Dunham and Terry Etim, and is one of the few UFC fighters to hold two finishes via vicious leg kick. He was facing undefeated 31-year-old Paul Felder, who made waves in UFC by landing a spinning backfist knockout in his last fight against Danny Castillo.
