Add yet another casualty to the growing list of fights lost due to bad weight cuts.
Ediane Gomes had to pull out of her Invicta FC 15 fight with Amanda Bell just an hour before weigh-ins Friday in Huntington Beach, Calif., Invicta announced. An Invicta official told MMA Fighting that it was due to "complications while cutting weight."
Gomes (10-4) was supposed to meet Bell in a featherweight fight Saturday night at The Hangar at the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif. The Brazilian fighter competed at bantamweight her previous two fights and was moving back up to 145 for this bout.
