As UFC 200 begins to round out, the mixed martial arts (MMA) world can almost expect another Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title fight to be added to the highly-anticipated July 9 card.
Not for nothing, but UFC 100 had two titles fights as well. But with recent news breaking that UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will bypass a title defense to challenge Nate Diaz in a Welterweight rematch at UFC 200, fans weren't sure if the promotion would follow history.
However, in light of a recent Twitter post by No. 1 ranked Lightweight contender Eddie Alvarez, it seems as if the promotion's bicentennial event could very well get another championship bout on top of the already scheduled interim title fight between Featherweights Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar.
