Early odds favor Khamzat Chimaev to beat Leon Edwards at Dec. 19 UFC show

If the odds are any indication, Leon Edwards’ win streak is about to come to an end.

The oddsmakers on BetOnline.ag have pegged Khamzat Chimaev as a -175 favorite over Edwards ahead of their upcoming fight on Dec. 19 at UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Despite the fact that Edwards (18-3) has won eight consecutive UFC fights—a streak that is second only to current welterweight champion Kamaru Usman (12)—he finds himself as a slight underdog to Chimaev (9-0) at +150.

Edwards has not fought since July 2019. He was supposed to fight former UFC champion Tyron Woodley in London on March 21, but that event was canceled in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak.
