Dustin Poirier fights for a lot of reasons and a primary goal in recent years has been his desire to give back through the charity he started alongside his wife.
Ahead of his fight at UFC 257, Poirier received a hefty $500,000 check from opponent Conor McGregor for the Good Fight Foundation, which has championed everything from building water wells in Uganda to buying school supplies for children in Louisiana.
Now following Poirier’s stunning second-round knockout to finish McGregor, the former interim champion has also tacked on another $26,200 for his fight kit sold for charity.
