Dustin Poirier started out his UFC career as a featherweight, but ‘The Diamond’ could end up completing his career as a welterweight.
Poirier, the former UFC interim lightweight champion, said he is ‘100 percent’ willing to move up to another weight class for the right fight.
The 30-year-old lightweight standout recently dropped a submission loss to reigning champ Khabib Nurmagomedov but, prior to that, the Louisianan notched wins over three former — and one current — champions, beating Anthony Pettis, Justin Gaethje, Eddie Alvarez and Max Holloway to cement his position as one of the greatest 155-pound fighters in the world.
