On Thursday night, “The Diamond” took to Twitter to reveal he would not require surgery on the injured hip that forced out of his lightweight fight against Nate Diaz at UFC 230. Instead, the Louisiana native will opt for stem cell injections with the hopes of returning to training later this year.
So here's what's up for everybody asking
I do not have to have surgery!! I'm going to stay in LA and get stem cell injections in my hip on Monday. From that point I will have a 3 week recovery.
