Up-and-coming featherweight prospect Jordan Parsons, who was expected to compete at Bellator 154 earlier this year, died last spring as a result of injuries sustained during his hit-and-run accident in Delray Beach, Florida.
More on that tragedy here.
The driver accused of running him over, Dennis Wright, recently posted $450,000 bond and remains under house arrest, according to WPTV. Wright’s lawyers, however, will petition the court to give their client permission to leave the house for important matters.
Like getting a haircut (seriously).
Parsons (11-2) made his Bellator debut back in early 2014, quickly racking up back-to-back wins -- and finishes -- over Tim Bazer and Julio Cesar Neves.
