Donald Cerrone & Matt Brown verbally agree to fight at UFC 206 in Toronto

Donald Cerrone wasn’t left without a fight for long. The possibility of fighting on the biggest stage ever — Madision Square Garden in New York City — escaped Cerrone’s life Friday morning when his scheduled opponent, Kelvin Gastelum, was unable to make weight for their pivotal welterweight contest.

But the UFC matchmakers got down to business immediately, and “Cowboy” already has another opponent for a later date.

According to FOXSports.com’s Damon Martin, Cerrone and Matt Brown have verbally agreed to fight each other at UFC 206 next month. A bout agreement has yet to be finalized nor has the UFC confirmed the news at this time.
