A fight between former UFC two-time bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and rising bantamweight prospect Casey Kenney has been unofficially announced for UFC 259.
MMAJunkie.com broke the news after being informed by anonymous sources. It will be Cruz’s first non-title fight since his first-round knockout victory over Takeya Mizugaki six years ago. UFC 259 will be held on March 6th, 2021 though few other details about it are known at this juncture.

Cruz is coming off of a TKO loss to Henry Cejudo earlier this year in a bid to regain the bantamweight title for the third time.
