Bellator 222 has added a pair of marquee fights to its card in the Big Apple.
On Tuesday, during the Bellator NYC press conference, promotion officials confirmed an initial report from ESPN of Dillon Danis’s upcoming fight against Max Humphrey moving from Bellator 221 in Chicago to Bellator 222 in New York City on June 14.
Danis (1-0) has not made the walk to the cage since submitting Kyle Walker in his professional debut at Bellator 198. Since then, the polarizing grappler has been forced to watch the the sideline after being handed a seven-month suspension for his role in the UFC 229 melee in October.
