While this card and the previous card on big FOX – Jacare vs. Brunson 2 – the opening contests for UFC on FOX 28 shouldn’t be criticized too badly. Mike Perry and Max Griffin aren’t the largest names by any means, but they should produce the type of opener that draws fans in. In terms of relevance, Ovince Saint Preux and Ilir Latifi could have major impact on who Daniel Cormier defends his belt against next. Then again, that says more about the state of the light heavyweight division than it does about how good Saint Preux and Latifi are.
