If there is anything positive that came out of Max Holloway’s injury for UFC 222, it was that Stefan Struve and Andrei Arlovski were no longer in the co-main event. I don’t have any issues with the fight being made. I don’t even have a problem with it being on the main card of a PPV. But being put in the co-main event of a PPV? I don’t think so. The UFC has received enough flak for the lack of quality on recent PPV cards – remember, they put Saparbek Safarov and Cyril Asker on the main card of their last PPV – that they can’t afford to shortchange fans any more than they already have.
