Despite landmark announcement to unionize fighters, UFC roster seems socially silent ... for now

It’s a new day in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA), as news broke earlier today (Thurs., Aug. 11, 2016) that the Professional Fighters Association (PFA) is officially in business (read the full report here).

So how did some of Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) biggest stars — as well as those from other organizations — react to the news? While there were a few sentiments expressed from the usual suspects such as former UFC stars Cung Le, Jon Fitch and Nate Quarry -- who all started the ball rolling years back with the UFC antitrust lawsuit -- Twitter was eerily quite following the landmark announcement in regard to active UFC fighters.
