After having his main card bout opposite Marcin Tybura at UFC Fight Night 97 scrapped, heavyweight Derrick Lewis will now headline UFC Fight Night 102 on Dec. 9 from Times Union Center in Albany, New York, against Russian veteran Shamil Abdurakhimov, per an announcement by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) late Friday (Oct. 14, 2016).
Lewis, 31, has been on a tear since losing to Shawn Jordan back in 2015. The heavyweight known as "Black Beast" has compiled a four-fight win streak with two first-round finishes and a key decision victory over Roy Nelson back at UFC Fight Night 90.
