UFC 230 already has a distinctly middleweight theme to it, and if Derek Brunson gets his way, both he and Israel Adesanya will join the party.
The two middleweights have recently gone back and forth on social media, with some of their exchanges have been cringe worthy, to say the least. Brunson upped the ante this week, however, calling for a matchup with “The Last Stylebender” at UFC 230.
“The last pretender [Style Bender] what’s up. You talk that loose lips stuff to [ESPN.com’s Ariel Helwani], talking about wanting to fight me,” Brunson wrote on Twitter Wednesday.
