Scrappy Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight veteran Dennis Bermudez looks to prolong his ZUFFA career when he returns to action against Japanese import Tatsuya Kawajiri at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 82 event on Sun., Feb. 21, 2016, inside Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Bermudez (14-5) was on the cusp of featherweight title contention, until Ricardo Lamas strangled him into submission at the UFC 180 pay-per-view (PPV) back in November 2014. "The Menace" followed that up with a technical knockout loss to Jeremy Stephens at UFC 189.

Kawajiri (35-8-2) rebounded from a unanimous decision loss to Clay Guida in Abu Dhabi to capture consecutive wins over Dennis Siver and Jason Knight.
