Grappling fans have long wanted to see Demian Maia compete in Metamoris. The same goes for the enigmatic Nick Diaz. Can you imagine them battling each other? Well, it was apparently something that was offered to Maia, but never ended up happening. He explained in a recent Q&A (via MMA Junkie):
