World-ranked welterweights Demian Maia and Matt Brown will collide in May when Ultimate Fighting Championship makes its return to Brazil.
The 170-pound matchup was announced on Monday by Giovani Decker, general manager of UFC Brazil.
The company has not confirmed a city or venue for the May 14 card but has annouced that the show will take place in Brazil with a five-round middleweight main event featuring Ronaldo Souza and Vitor Belfort.
Maia, 38, will enter the pivotal matchup on a four-fight winning streak, looking to close in on a UFC title shot.
