Former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson will fight Adriano Moraes for the ONE Championship flyweight title on April 11th (per MMA Fighting). The fight will be Johnson’s fourth for the promotion since he was ‘traded’ to ONE in 2018.
After joining the company Johnson competed in the ONE Championship Flyweight Grand-Prix. He won that tournament by choking out Yuya Wakamatsu and decisioning Tatsumitsu Wada and Danny Kingad. Those victories took Johnson’s pro record to 30-3-1.
The 33-year-old Johnson came to ONE after losing his flyweight title in a bout with Henry Cejudo at UFC 227 in August 2018.
