Reigning flyweight king Demetrious Johnson will defend his title against Wilson Reis in the UFC 201 co-main event.
The matchup was announced during Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight. UFC 201 takes place on July 30 at Phillips Arena in Atlanta and is headlined by a welterweight championship showdown between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley. The Johnson-Weis winner will presumably defend the flyweight crown against “The Ultimate Fighter 24” winner at the show’s finale on Dec. 3.
Johnson, who recently signed an eight-fight contract extension, has defended the 125-pound title eight consecutive times.
