The ONE Championship flyweight belt will finally be on the line for former UFC king Demetrious Johnson on Feb. 24, when he battles reigning champion Adriano Moraes in Singapore, the company announced Friday.
Johnson (30-3-1) and Moraes (18-3) were first expected to battle in April, but the card was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Mighty Mouse” parted ways with the UFC to join ONE in 2019, and won the division’s tournament with wins over Yuya Wakamatsu, Tatsumitsu Wada and Danny Kingad. Johnson’s legendary career includes victories over the likes of Henry Cejudo, Kyoji Horiguchi, Joseph Benavidez, Miguel Torres and Norifumi Yamamoto.
