It came as a surprise when newly-crowned flyweight champion Henry Cejudo called out T.J. Dillashaw so soon after winning the title at UFC 227.
Cejudo, who usurped pound-for-pound great Demetrious Johnson in the co-main event, wants to become a two-division champ and cement his legacy as one of the greatest fighters of all time.
And, while many fans feel Cejudo should pump the brakes on a ‘superfight’ with Dillashaw and grant Johnson and immediate rematch, ‘Mighty Mouse’ has no problem with ‘The Messenger’ moving up in weight to test himself vs. TJ.
“I think it’s good for them,” Johnson said on a recent edition of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, per Sherdog’s Nathan Zur .
