Deiveson Figueiredo reveals weight ahead of UFC 256, wants to knock mask off ‘clown’ Henry Cejudo

UFC flyweight champ Deiveson Figueiredo is making a record-setting turnaround when he faces Brandon Moreno at UFC 256. But despite previous struggles on the scale, he said he’s on target to make 125 pounds.

During a virtual media day for the pay-per-view event at UFC APEX, Figueiredo on Wednesday told MMA Fighting he currently weighs 60 kilograms, or 132.2 pounds. It’s the second time in three weeks he is required to make championship weight, something no other UFC champion has done.

“Maybe I could even make weight today or tomorrow, and I just want to show that I am able to make weight,” Figueiredo said via translator.
