Austin Hubbard is the latest addition to the UFC roster, and he’s making his Octagon debut against Davi Ramos at UFC’s upcoming Fight Night show in Rochester, New York, on May 18, sources confirmed a report by ESPN.
Hubbard (10-2) claimed the vacant LFA lightweight belt in December, finishing Killys Mota with 15 seconds left in the clock in the fifth round of their main event bout in Minnesota. “Thud” scored six of his 10 professional victories by way of stoppage.
Ramos (9-2), an ADCC gold medalist and multiple-time jiu-jitsu champion, enters the contest riding a three-fight winning streak, finishing Chris Gruetzemacher, Nick Hein and John Gunther with rear-naked chokes.
