UFC welterweight contender Darren Till failed to make weight for his headliner fight against Stephen Thompson in his hometown of Liverpool late last month. “The Gorilla” tipped the scales at 173.5 pounds, but ended up with a unanimous decision win.
The bigger story, however, came a few days after the fight, when a video surfaced showing Till struggling to make weight. It has since been taken down, but was nonetheless preserved somehow by people online.
The video caused great concern among those who had seen it, thinking Till would have died from dehydration.
