Although most fighters claim to be in ‘the best shape of their career’ heading into a fight, it’s well-known that they all carry nagging, or sometimes serious, injuries into the Octagon.
Top welterweight contender Darren Till has been refreshingly honest about that heading into his title fight vs. Tyron Woodley at UFC 228, telling the media that he has to deal with ‘the same old sh-t’ in preparation for Saturday’s main event.
“Just the same old sh*t, broken bones here there, broken hands. Just same old sh*t. What every fighter I’m sure had but hasn’t got the f*ckin’ bollocks to talk about,” Till said at a pre-fight media scrum (h/t Drake Riggs of BJPenn.
