A bantamweight title fight between champ Eduardo Dantas and Darrion Caldwell is set to headline Bellator 184 in October, officials announced on the Bellator 181 Spike TV broadcast Friday night. MMAjunkie.com first reported the news.
Also, former featherweight titleholder Daniel Straus and Emmanuel Sanchez are set to meet in the evening’s co-main event.
Dantas won back the title at Bellator 156 last year with a dominant win over Marcos Galvao in a rematch. He avenged a 2014 loss to Joe Warren with a decisive decision win over the wrestler last December in his first title defense.
